Malluwood’s best architect of thrillers, Shaji Kailaas once again ropes in his favourite hero Suresh Gopi for his new release titled ‘Time’. Suresh Gopi once more dons the uniform for his dual role here – as Superintendent of Police Viswanathan Menon, and the other, that of his son IPS Officer Dr Appan Menon.

Appan Menon had lost his mother when very young and was brought up by his father, Viswanathan Menon, an S P in the British India who imbibed in him all the virtues he could.

Appan grows up to become an IPS officer of Tamil Nadu cadre and marries his childhood sweetheart Vaiga (Vimala Raman). Appan sticks to the values that his father gifted him when young and considers both personal and professional lives of equal importance.



Appan Menon has also done his PhD in criminology. As he is a candid and competent officer, he often has to encounter the ugly countenances of administration. After the recent elections, when a new government came into power, he was ferried off to the Civil Supplies Corporation as the MD. Nevertheless, he enjoyed his work there. However during one such circumstance, the Chief Minister himself allotted him to investigate Minister Krishnan Nambiar’s murder case.

Siddhique, Manoj K Jayan, Lal, Vijayakumar, Sreekumar and Bineesh Kodiyery comprise the rest of the cast. Raja Rathnam handles the photography while Rajesh Jayaman scripts down the story.
